During the public beta, Pro is included for everyone, free, and there is nothing to buy or manage. This article is for later, when the beta has ended and you are choosing a plan.
There are four plans. Free is for exploring and the occasional trip: the map, browsing parks and clubs, RV-safe routing, campground search along your route, and two trips a year. Basic adds more trips, drive mode, weather and live traffic on the trip map, and calendar sync. Pro adds everything in Basic plus unlimited trips and searching along your route by category or by name, up to 50 searches a month. Elite adds everything in Pro plus unlimited searches along your route and, in drive mode, a search for gas, rest stops and truck stops ahead.
RV-safe routing is included on every plan, including Free. So is connecting with friends and sharing a trip with them. People often assume these are paid features; they are not.

Campground search along your route looks through TheRVMAP's own park listings, on every plan. Searching along your route by category or by name finds anything ahead of you, such as fuel, food, a brand or a specific place. The plans page in TheRVMAP lists everything else each plan includes.
RV-safe routing builds routes for your rig's dimensions as guidance. You are still the driver, and you check clearances, weights and road conditions yourself.
Prices
The plans page in TheRVMAP always shows the current price of every plan, so check it there before you choose. Yearly plans cost less over a year than paying monthly, and the plans page shows how much you save.
Basic is billed yearly only. When the plans page is set to monthly, Basic shows a per-month figure with a note that it is billed yearly, and choosing it buys the yearly plan.
