During the public beta, Pro is included for everyone, free, and there is nothing to buy or manage. This article is for later, when you are on a paid plan and thinking about cancelling.
Take your time with this one. Cancelling is worth understanding before you do it.
Cancelling is not the same as your plan ending
Cancelling does not take effect the moment you do it. Your plan stays active until the end of what you have already paid for. On an annual plan that can be most of a year. Nothing is removed during that time, and everything keeps working exactly as before.
What happens when the paid plan actually ends
When the paid period runs out, your account continues on the Free plan with a fresh allowance for the year. At that point your trips, stops and trip photos stop being visible. They are held, not shown, rather than deleted.
What is kept regardless: your account and sign-in, your RV profiles, your friends, your clubs, your preferences, and your billing history. None of that goes away.
Getting your trips back
Restoring held trips is a paid service, not something that happens automatically when you subscribe again. The timing depends on how long it has been:
- Within a year, they can be restored quickly.
- Up to three years, restoring is slower.
- After three years, they are gone.
If a payment fails
If your plan ends because a payment did not go through rather than because you cancelled, we try the card several times over about two weeks and email you each time before the plan ends.
This is not deleting your account
Cancelling leaves your account in place on the Free plan. Deleting your account is a separate, permanent action covered in its own article.
