Updating to the latest beta build

Last updated Wed, September 16th, 2026

New builds land often during the beta, and each one fixes things and adds things worth trying. When a build goes out, the What to Test note tells you what is new since last time, so updating is how you stay on the version we are actually asking about.

Why it matters on iPhone

On iPhone, TheRVMAP is installed through Apple's TestFlight app. TestFlight builds expire after 90 days. When a build expires it stops opening, and the fix is simply to install the current one from TestFlight. Updating before that happens keeps you from being locked out mid-trip.

How to update

When a newer build is available, open the store app you installed TheRVMAP from and install the newer version.

  • On iPhone: open TestFlight and install the latest TheRVMAP build.
  • On Android: open Google Play and install the update.

Then open TheRVMAP as usual. You stay signed in.
